Four mathematicians, unbeknownst to each other, receive invites to an isolated location by a mysterious host to take part in a challenge of resolving a great enigma. The room in which they are placed turns out to be a shrinking room that will crush them if they do not uncover what connects them all in time, and why someone might wish to murder them to begin with.

It's all done with style, with very little of the strain you might expect from filming in such a restricted environment.

Fermat's Room - the feature film debut of TV writer/directors Luis Piedrahita and Rodrigo Sopeña - is taut, thrilling and entertainingly three-dimensional despite the fact that almost all the action takes place within just four walls.
